I am considering shuttering the blog. It's been well over a month since I last posted and, to tell you the truth, I haven't missed it.
Whilst I'm not sure I can be bothered with blogging any more, I do still like the idea of documenting my outfits, if only so I can look back and laugh at myself in years to comeSHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-4555442491325101532018-05-11T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-11T19:30:02.956+01:00PMT Challenge - Days 27-31 Catch UpHere's the second installment of my PMT outfit round up posts!
Day 27
The second day of my weekend away, this was great in the rain. I subbed out the denim jacket that was suggested for a cardigan as it was easier to pack!

But here's a quick round up of the last outfits in the PMT Challenge. I'll split it into a few parts to keep the posts from being too long.
Day 22
I wasn't sure about this outfit, but I went ahead with it anyway.

It was another warm, sunny day and I spent most of it in my sister's garden as it was my niece's 2nd birthday party. As has happened most days this week I didn't actually need the jacket, but I like to add a completer piece to my outfits anyway as it helps to finish them off nicely.

So this is the day 18 outfit I didn’t wear the previous day. It’s unlike me to not wear jeans on casual Friday but these olive pants are fairly casual anyway, and probably less warm than jeans. The heat had abated from the previous couple of days although the forecast was still for warm sunshine. A light jacket was just the job (although it was still five days SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-51330305612019327402018-05-06T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-06T19:30:21.843+01:00Outfit: April 19th – PMT Challenge Day 19
I skipped a day again as the weather forecast was for high temperatures again and it seemed a shame not to wear a dress. Day 18 is coming up in the next post.
So we had a couple of days lovely weather mid-April and this dress was perfect. I did not need the jacket really, but this challenge teaches the importance of a ‘completer piece’ and sometimes I get chilly SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-12542221131843342782018-05-05T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-05T19:30:16.745+01:00Outfit: April 18th – PMT Challenge Day 17
I liked this challenge outfit as it’s the kind of thing I would wear anyway, especially when the weather is as nice as it was this day. One of my colleagues was leaving the company so we all went to the pub at lunchtime and sat outside in the sun with our drinks. Someone commented that it had been a long time since it had been warm enough to do that and she was right, it has SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-75288480277062696432018-05-04T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-04T19:30:00.698+01:00Outfit: April 17th – PMT Challenge Day 16
The prompt for today included jeans but I couldn’t do that because, well, work and Tuesday so I swapped them for a denim skirt. I had a half a mind to change the skirt for navy trousers but I stuck with it as I hardly wear skirts these days and the weather was supposed to be perking up and getting warmer the week I wore this (though at the time of writing it was grey and SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-13971229531267678452018-05-03T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-03T19:30:13.479+01:00Outfit: April 16th – PMT Challenge Day 15
Another day, another sub on the challenge. This time it was the grey cardi in place of an oatmeal one as I thought it went better, and it is a lighter knit. Spring has FINALLY arrived in the Frozen North and so there was no need for a chunky knit (for once!). I also swapped out my nude flat (which I only just wore on Saturday) and matched my green flats to the earrings SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-6874800986458717292018-05-02T19:30:00.000+01:002018-05-02T19:30:01.615+01:00Outfit: April 15th – PMT Challenge Day 14
This outfit was supposed to have the olive pants with it, but as it was the weekend I subbed in blue jeans instead. And I felt like the black cardi played nicely with the black in the print of the blouse. This was a great outfit for a day out with my little sister and my nieces in York.

So the oatmeal cardi got ditched in favour of a blazer again! It was my birthday and we went out for lunch with all the family. I just like a blazer and jeans, what can I say? I was a very lucky girl and got a lovely new handbag with rose gold hardware, so I matched my shoes with the rose gold tips. I also got the fabulous leopard print Nickel and Suede earrings that SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-74005374913678402032018-04-30T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-30T19:30:05.180+01:00Outfit: April 13th - PMT Challenge Day 11
So here's the previous day's challenge outfit that was definitely better suited to casual Friday. Especially as I like my jeans with rips. I switched out the cosy oatmeal cardi though, as a it wasn't that cold out (shocker, I know!) and the blazer was a bit smarter with the ripped jeans.

Did you notice that I skipped a day? I thought the day 12 prompt was more Thursday appropriate than the day 11 one, which features blue jeans. So I saved day 11 for Friday and went with this outfit instead. I could have worn a white t shirt, but I figured the white button down shirt was more ‘work’. Although my office is pretty casual (hence the trainers) so I probablySHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-34680025107617201142018-04-26T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-26T19:30:35.148+01:00Outfit: April 11th – PMT Challenge Day 10
The top shown in today’s outfit prompt is a navy sweater with lemons printed on it, which is from Old Navy. We don’t have Old Navy in the UK (sadly, as they do some awesome Tall items) and this sweater is roughly the same colour pallet (minus the yellow of the lemons of course) so it is a pretty good substitute which was already in my closet.
Secondly, I am SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-55242940186783017202018-04-25T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-25T19:30:19.203+01:00Outfit: April 10th – PMT Challenge Day 9
I always love an outfit that includes this jacket. I’m not sure I would put my brogues with these pants again, but the morning I wore this it was too wet for flats and the pants are slightly too cropped for ankle boots. I could have worn tall boots but this is supposed to be a spring challenge, you know? Anyhow, an outfit that combined burgundy and army green was good for me as I SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-38056389916036012462018-04-24T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-24T19:30:15.368+01:00Outfit: April 9th – PMT Challenge Day 8
I skipped Day 7 because the prompt was for a dress and although spring seemed to have FINALLY arrived in the Frozen North, it still wasn’t warm enough for the dress I wanted to wear. And the outfit was to put it with a denim jacket and sneakers which is a look I love, but we had an 80th birthday lunch to attend and I needed to wear something smarter. So I will tag day 7 SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-65654456210053885292018-04-23T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-23T19:30:11.026+01:00Outfit: April 7th - PMT Challenge Day 6
We had friends up for the weekend so this was a great outfit for feeling put together whilst showing them around the city. The day started out wet so my trainers were totally appropriate as they are faux-leather and therefore waterproof.

A cosy cardigan for Day 5 of the challenge which was great as it was a little chilly outside again. I liked this outfit but I think it did need the earrings and shoes to pull it together. When I initially got dressed I was thinking of swapping the cardi for a blazer but once I added the accessories it looked better.
So yeah, I caved in and got some more Nickel and Suede SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-70452431852411852242018-04-19T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-19T19:30:08.571+01:00Outfit: April 5th – PMT Challenge Day 4
I think this is my favourite combination of the challenge so far! I wasn’t sure that the narrow sleeves of my denim jacket would work over the floaty sleeves of this top, but the top is so lightweight that it isn’t a problem. The prompt for today was actually cinnamon jeans, but I don’t have any of those and wasn’t about to go a buy a pair, so I am subbing in burgundy each SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-32722271443164806392018-04-18T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-18T19:30:49.597+01:00Outfit: April 4th – PMT Challenge Day 3
So, this isn’t an outfit I would have come up with by myself, and I’m still not sure on the teal/olive combo, but that’s what the outfit guide said so I went with it. Loving the striped blazer with the teal top though! And for me, part of this challenge was to get over my, not ‘fear’ exactly, but apprehension about pairing red and green shades outside of December. So I SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-88318032053698076612018-04-17T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-17T19:30:12.812+01:00Outfit: April 3rd – PMT Challenge Day 2
So the snow melted and the sun came out and I was able to actually wear something resembling spring for my second outfit of the challenge. The light was OK when I took these pictures but the cardigan (which is actually army green) looks super washed out for some reason. I am subbing this cardi or my green biker jacket in place of a utility jacket, which I don’t have and SHOEGALhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15240236838816111570noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31966706.post-80752069541837895902018-04-16T19:30:00.000+01:002018-04-16T19:30:07.948+01:00Outfit: April 2nd - PMT Challenge Day 1 (Also Easter Monday)
Easter Monday is another bank holiday in the UK (yay for 4 day weekends!) and the day that the Putting Me Together spring challenge officially started. My outfit wasn't quite what I would have planned because this:
