Caroline left a comment on my ripped jeans post about how Dorothy Perkins make the best jeans and I wasn’t sure I agreed with her really. I was only going there because there is one on my way home and they have Tall jeans. But I may be revising my opinion now as I got some lovely dark skinny flares (if that’s possible!). They are long, they fit at the top, and best of all, they were just £15!

I've had mixed results with their jeans... My favourite ones are a great wash and fit well on the leg, but went so gapey at the waist after a few wears that I can now shimmy out of them without undoing them. Haven't had that problem with the other two pairs I've had from there, though, although I'm not too keen on the quality of denim on the current pair, so don't tend to wear them too often. Be interested to see what you think, anyway.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think River Island make the best jeans (although alos with the gapey waists lately, annoyingly) - don't think they do a tall range, though, unfortunately.
River Island unfortunately don't make their jeans with a big enough "trunk" for me, if you catch my drift... The same applies to Next, who some of my friends swear by. Dotty P's just fit me well - but to be honest I think jeans shopping varies widely from person to person.
ReplyDeleteAnd the black skinny flares - I think they may be the ones I have! I have worn them more than I ususally wear jeans, and after approx 6 months wear and wash they're holding their shape, their colour and their stretch.
