Outfit: Shoeper Challenge 2013/14 Save 33 | Cropped Cream Sweater, Stripe Pants
Monday is here again and I hope this one finds you all well. How was your weekend? Mine was excellent – we went to visit some friends in Lincolnshire and enjoyed good food, good company, lovely autumn walks and ten pin bowling. I even went paddling in a river (in my wellies)! I didn’t take any outfit pictures, but when I wasn’t wearing my wellies I wore my Geox tan boots and they are so comfy! I wore them all of last weekend too, for walking around Bristol and Pack Monday fair and even though they were new, there was no rubbing at all. I would highly recommend them if you’re after a pair of well made boots, and they come in black as well as tan.
Today it was back to the usual routine – work, gym, fog that refused to lift – you know the drill. A cosy sweater and some comfortable yet snappy pants were just the thing to wear.
These teal shoes are old – probably circa 2007. They have worn well even though they were cheapies from Matalan. I don’t have any other shoes in this colour so these are useful, and being faux suede they stand up to the weather pretty well.
Cream crop sweater – Topshop Tall
Teal top (underneath) – H&M
Grey and cream stripe trousers – Forever 21
Teal wedges – Matalan
Silver earrings – gifted

Sounds like you had a great weekend! Mine involved the marathon as you might have seen & a lot of walking around Amsterdam the day before. If was the first Yorkshire Mara yesterday (in York), had a couple of friends doing that one too :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on completing the marathon!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to comment on your blog the other day, but it's hit and miss as to whether I can see the comments button at the bottom of posts. Probably just Blogger being Blogger. But anyway, I really liked the outfit with the yellow jacket and polka dot skirt.
