I was aiming to dress down my over knee boots today, but I suppose you could argue that they are dressing up the jeans. I paired them with a wool sweater and a big scarf for a cosy fall outfit on the first day of November. I got the sweater in the men’s section of TK Maxx. It has corduroy elbow patches on it and because it’s a men’s one the sleeves are longer and the patches are in exactly the right place. I will definitely be checking out the men’s knits next time I’m in a TK Maxx store.
The jeans are Long Tall Sally’s premium denim range, which I got for a steal on eBay. They are lovely and soft and stretchy, but they don’t sag out at the knees or butt. Perfect denim. If you are tall and are thinking of investing in a pair of Heritage denim from LTS, then definitely go for it.
The boots are my September pick from Sarenza and are by Geox . They are the long-awaited replacement for my old pair of over knee boots that bit the dust a couple of years back. This pair is real suede and I love how tall they are on my legs. They have a platform at the front so the heels aren’t quite as high as they look. And they have the special Geox breathable soles so I hope they will prove to be quite comfortable.

I had been looking forward to the Geox boots ever since you mentioned them and they are even better than expected. Yes, they certainly dress up the jeans rather than being dressed down. They are absolutely perfect!
