I was so excited to discover that Boohoo has a tall range, and as I had a 20% off code I had to order a few bits and see what it was like! Now Boohoo do state that their tall range is for people 5'7" to 5'11" and as I am on the top end of that at 5'11" I wasn't holding my breath that the lengths would be any good, but as returns are free and I was ordering a standard size top anyway I thought it was worth taking a chance.
To get an idea of how they fair I picked out some jeans (for leg length), a long sleeve top (for sleeve length) and a dress (for length in general). Here's how I got on...
First up, the jeans. (I cut my head out of most of these photos as I was getting sick when I took them and was pulling some kind of weird derp face in most of them.) These are the Tall Hara Ripped Knee Skinny Jeans and I ordered a size 12. I am a 10/12 depending on the store/fit and the 12 was fine in these and they do have some stretch in them. As you can see, they are high waisted and the length is great. I need at least a 34" leg in skinny jeans for them to be ankle length, longer for flares or bootcut styles. I didn't measure the leg but I would say they are 34.5" or 35" inside legs. I did end up sending these back as I felt like the knee rips were cut slightly too high, although looking at these pictures they look OK. And secondly I am trying to be more picky about pocket placement on my jeans and the back pockets on this pair seemed slightly too high, but that just a personal preference for me. The jeans are £22.
Secondly, the long sleeve top. It's the Tall Lora Long Sleeve Basic Swing Top and comes in black and white as well as this burgundy/wine colour. As your can see see the sleeve length is great. The fabric is super soft and hangs really nicely. It is £12. I'm wearing the 10 here.
Finally, the dress. I find that a lot of 'tall' brands still insist on making their dresses far too short so my test for this one was whether I would feel comfortable wearing it with bare legs if the weather ever warms up. Well yes, yes I would. Again, it's a soft fabric and hangs nicely and could we have some warm weather now so I can wear it styled with white pumps exactly like this please? This is the Tall Haidee Oversized T Shirt Dress and comes in black, mocha and grey marl in addition to this khaki/army green. It's just £12 so I'd quite like the grey one too I think. This is a size 12.
And that concludes my round up. This is not a sponsored post, I just think that the tall range is quite new to Boohoo so if I didn't know about it then it's possible other tall ladies out there don't know either. Would I order from it again? Yes I would, as the prices are cheap to begin with and there is almost always some sort of offer on for a discount or free shipping. The quality is comparable to that of much of the high street and shipping is fast: my order arrived a day before they said it would, even on standard delivery.

Outfit: April 19th – Better in Person
This is one of those outfits that looks better in real life that it does in pictures. Something to do with the flowy movement of the top, which is hard to capture in a photograph. Everything in this look is old – the skirt and shoes were Primark purchases last spring (the skirt was reduced to £5 in the sale – score!), and the top was from New Look’s tall range last summer. The top is a fine knit fabric which makes it a bit warmer than and t shirt, but I layered a vest underneath for modesty, added warmth, and to add that elusive ‘pop’ of colour that we bloggers are so fond of!

Outfit: April 18th: The 90s Called…
With my big hair and rose print choker I felt very 90s in this outfit. The 90s called… they want their accessories back!
If you put two things on a pair of shoes (namely, pointed toes and criss-cross laces) I will be there: as this recent addition to my collection will attest. These are from ASOS http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-lois-lace-up-pointed-ballet-flats/prd/6680783?iid=6680783 and I can see them getting a lot of wear over the coming months (but hopefully not so much wear that I wear them out – should I buy a backup pair now?!). The rest of my outfit was fairly simple – just some black jean-style trousers and a black and white check print blouse top, both of which I’ve had since this time last year.

Outfit: April 17th – Blue Biker
I took a couple of days off work right before Easter to attend a family wedding so it felt like I’d had a nice long break, even though it was really just two days plus the standard Easter weekend. I’ve also had a birthday since we last chatted.
This was my Easter Monday errand-running outfit. The jacket is the same as the grey one I acquired recently: I liked that one so much that I asked for the navy version for my birthday. If you are tall then I would highly recommend this jacket (it comes in black too), it is fairly warm, super stretchy and an awesome length.
The temperatures have nose-dived again recently so it’s back to sweaters for the time being.

Outfit: April 11th – Before the Easter Holidays
This was just a quick few snaps on my phone on the last day of work for me before the Easter holidays. We took a couple of days off to attend a family wedding so it was a short working week indeed. I smartened up my khaki jeans/trousers with a jersey blazer and added stripes because, you know, stripes.
The shoes were a £3.50 bargain last year at Primark. I had some New Look striped shoes in my wardrobe a few years back and wore them out. I really missed having them so I was pleased to find this pair last year. I don’t know whether they have the same ones this spring, but they certainly have lots of styles for £3.50.

Outfit: April 10th – Pattern Mixing Monday
I am totally loving these leopard print pumps. The print just gives the casual shoes a little something extra I feel.
Yes, I got another version of this t shirt. Who am I to resist anything in army green right now?! I had a 20% off code too, so it was all good. Speaking of these t shirts, my grey one has mysteriously gone missing. According to Instagram I haven’t worn it since 16th March (surely not?) (and also, see, there IS a point to logging all your outfits on Instagram) and when I looked for it Friday evening to hang up to wear Saturday, I couldn’t find it. I conducted an extensive search for it on Saturday morning but to no avail. So I ask you this: if you were a grey t shirt, where would you hide?

Outfit: April 7th - Navy Layers
I put on some smart-ish jeans and layered up the navy for this casual Friday look. I have been looking for a navy jersey jacket for ages and finally found one in ASDA. And since I had a gift card it didn’t cost me anything either. The cross strap top is from last year and I modified it – there were two crosses originally, designed to be worn in the back. I cut one off and turned the top around. And the tank top is old M&S and purely there for modesty and another layer as it wasn’t that warm the day I wore this.
