Outfit: 30x30 Day 2
I felt really good in my outfit this morning. It’s amazing how a bit of leopard print and some fabulous boots can do that for you. I think I have definitely made the right footwear choices in this challenge. I’ve had these boots since I was in New York in 2003 and I climbed (well, in the lift) the Empire State Building in them the first time I wore them. They have been in fairly regular rotation ever since but this challenge may reveal a new love for them.
The teal top was a last minute substitution as I was taking the pictures of my 30 items on Friday afternoon. I love how it fits and the sleeves are so long, I just knew I’d regret not putting it in. Plus it’s a bit of a rogue colour in amongst my other items so will be fun to pair it with other things. I was going to wear black tights but the teal ones tie it all together better I think.
The challenge has also spurred me on to take in the waistband of this skirt some more. I’m sure it stretches out every time I wear it.
