So Saturday turned out a little more eventful than I had thought it would. My sister phoned up to say she and her husband were are the retail park, could they call in for a cuppa. So they came round for an hour or so and then Saturday night I ended up going to meet the young man for a couple of drinks and then we got Chinese takeout on the way home. I’d had a whole other outfit planned for Saturday too, but the snow scuppered that and I ended up in the pub in my EMU boots (something I would never normally do).
Yesterday was a pretty leisurely day for me. The snow was more or less gone (yay!). (I love the snow, but we’ve had so much this winter that I’m getting a bit bored of it now and I’m ready for spring.) I went to a Zumba class at the gym and it was great fun. I’ll definitely be going again. I got home and made some lunch, watched an episode of SATC and then took a shower. I wasn’t sure whether I’d be going out anywhere (the young man was out with his mate and sometimes I go and join them for a drink or food) so I put on something suitable, just in case. I love these boots with these jeans. I think I mentioned last week that the boots came from Century 21 in New York City. That place is great for discount shoes.
In the end the young man came home for tea and we spent the evening watching Top Gear and had an early night.
