Outfit: Shoeper Challenge #101 and the Last Pair of Shoes
This is it folks! My last pair of shoes is saved in the Shoeper Challenge! I do just have one pair of boots left and I’ll have to make an effort to wear those in the next two weeks, or they’ll be out the door. My current footwear total stands at 81 pairs, fewer than when I started and fewer than it’s been in the last few years I think. So I’m almost done with the challenge!
Today’s shoes are the ones I showed you a couple of weeks back when they arrived from Sarenza. They are by LK Bennett, and the lower heel makes them super comfy. This wasn’t the type of outfit I had planned to wear them with at all – I could (and still can) see them with skinny jeans and perhaps a blazer, or smart top. But I quite like how they work with the dark tights and co-ordinate with the faux fur.
And speaking of the faux fur: how much do I love this thing? It is so cosy and as it’s pretty cold out today I was glad I had chosen to wear it and could pull it around my neck under my coat when I left the house. The cardi is another recent eBay bargain – my big chunky brown cardi had become too big for me so on to eBay it went and I snapped up this one as a replacement. It’s just a Tesco Florence + Fred one, but it is lovely and stretchy, in really good condition and I know the sleeve length of that range is quite generous which is always important for me.
I managed to completely misread the calendar and home and in fact we are out for tea at the pub tomorrow. So tonight will be a quiet one and a chance to catch up with some washing. Going to the gym two nights in a row is all very well, but then you have two lots of kit to wash. I am going to make the young man’s favourite chicken fried rice for tea.

Lovely shoes - I am tempted by LK Bennett but a little put off by the price in the shops. Might look on eBay.
ReplyDeleteHow does the sizing work compared with, say Next or M&S? I'm an 8 (42Eu)
Thank you! The sizing is quite accurate I would say. I am an 8/42 and my LK Bennett shoes are a 42 (which they call a 9). I wear and 8/42 in Next so I'd say they compare pretty well with that.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that fur scarf!! At first, (1st pic) I thought it was a fur vest -- (LOVE!) So fun!
