Iron Fist is not a shoe brand I had come across before until I started to browse the Spartoo website. I think they have a touch of the Irregular Choice brand (also stocked by Spartoo) about them, and for that I like them. There’s a certain quirkiness about the styles. For instance, the nautical trend is big for spring and there are hundreds, if not thousands, of nautical inspired shoes out there right now. However, this pair really stands out from the rest for being just a little bit different. Iron Fist have taken the nautical theme and given it a little twist when they designed the Sinking Marine shoes. The fact that the stripes are blue and black, for example, sets them apart from the usual combination of blue and white stripes. They way the red is brought in as piping and on the platform and heel. The adorable bow on the front in red and black, linking the black in further. The little anchor on the bow – a quirky twist on the nautical style. Right down to the anchor print on the lining and the anchor on the sole (again, very Irregular Choice). The platform makes the 4 inch heels very manageable and the peep toe makes them perfect for spring!
