Well that didn’t last long. 4 or so sunny days and now it’s raining again. However, it’s still warm and what’s a girl to do when she needs to look smart for work but trousers and a jacket would make her too hot? My favourite option is city shorts as an alternative to trousers. As long as you keep them on the long side and dress them up with heels they look very smart. And a cooler alternative to a jacket is our old friend the waistcoat. You still get the structured, nipped in waist, but there are no sleeves so it’s ideal to pair with a short sleeve blouse.
