Saturday was spent in and around the house. I did some housework, read a book, and just generally pottered. The young man’s mum and niece called round to see us so I spent a while playing with the niece (she’s almost 3). No outfit picture – I just wore cropped jeans, a white cami and my beloved blue velvet waistcoat that I’d worn twice last week already.
Saturday evening the young man & I headed to our local town for a night out. We ended up at the club that features in this video.

I’d never been there before but apparently it’s a must-do if you live in the area. The video was shot in about 1984 and the club has not changed at all since then! No picture again – we were running late to go out. I wore dark skinny jeans, a blue/black sparkly top and my metallic blue shoes.
Sunday morning we got home around 2.30am and so did not get up in time for church. It was the young man’s dad’s birthday so we went up to his parents’ house and had some lunch with them. Late afternoon we headed to a BBQ at the house of one of the drama group members. The weather stayed fine and it was lovely sitting out in the garden.
