Yesterday we headed to Filey for a day out. We had some dinner in a café, then walked on the beach about 2 miles to Hunmanby Gap where we had an ice cream. On the way back we paddled in the sea and boy, was it cold! I love the east coast. I have a friend who lives at Hunmanby and I spent many teenage summers over there. It’s interesting to see how the coast line has changed over the years – the steps we used to use to get down the cliff at Hunmanby Gap are now on the beach and a new path has been built, such is the extent of the coastal erosion.
