Outfit: Thigh High Boots & Purple Tights

I was going to wear a different combination today, involving my purple boots and teal tights. But just as well I didn’t – it would have been an exact copy of an outfit I wore not two weeks ago!

I am excited to be able to wear over the knee boots again now that the weather is chilling down. I think these are more over the knee than thigh high. I love that they make my dress look longer too (as I said last winter) – less of a gap between boots & dress makes the dress look less short. It’s not actually that cold out today so I probably don’t really need the cardi, but I like it because it’s cosy.

This afternoon I am going to stop off at Borders on my way home to see whether the October issues of Lucky & US Glamour are available yet. I kind of like that we get the US magazines a month late here – it means you get the October issues when it almost is October, and not at the end of August.

We are having tea at the young man’s parents’ house today so I’ll walk up there later on to meet him as he’ll go directly from work.
