This is totally not what I had planned to wear today. I put out my purple dress which I was going to wear over this sweater, but when I put it on I just wasn’t feeling it. I thought my pencil skirt would look awesome with such a fitted sweater and so I snuck back into the main bedroom to retrieve it from the wardrobe. Following my ‘if in doubt, wear red shoes’ motto I picked out these shoes and added the Chris Randall scarf to go with them. I am totally loving this scarf at the moment and am glad I changed my mind about what to wear today.
Tonight we are clearing out the loft ready for the insulation we are having put in on Friday. We are very lucky – the local council is providing everyone in the area with free loft and cavity wall insulation if you have the right kind of house for it. So it will be my oldest jeans and high school sweatshirt this evening.
