Outfit: Red & Turquoise
I have given up taking pictures of my Monday night choir outfits – mostly because I don’t have time, but also because they tend to consist of the same elements each week: warm jumpers, skinny jeans, EMU boots and a scarf to keep warm in the cold church where we rehearse. Last night was no exception. I layered my Ascension hoodie over a black cashmere sweater, put on jeans and my EMUs and added a turquoise scarf for a bit of colour. And I was still cold.
So, on to today. I have always thought that putting a bright colour with black was a bit dull. Add in another colour however, and you have something. I love the way red and turquoise pop against each other and wearing something turquoise is a great excuse to put on turquoise eyeliner too.
This evening I have a committee meeting for the local drama group so will probably just switch out the trousers for jeans.
