We were told yesterday that we could dress down for work between now and the end of the year. I took this to mean that jeans were permitted, but am far from dressed down today. I went for my sparkly sequinned jeans and a cardi with a faux fur collar. Not only is it a little bit festive but it’s keeping me cosy in the sub-zero temperatures. I swear, it’s colder out today than it has been all week. I stepped out of my house and really felt the chill this morning. I almost lost a thumb to frostbite scraping my car – I must wear gloves with closed finger ends tomorrow.
