It’s my last day of work before the Christmas holidays and I couldn’t be more excited. The snow is still lying on the ground and there’s more forecast for tonight. I’ve got the Christmas tunes cranked up and am about to go and make more tea. I wanted to wear red & green today but added the grey cardi for warmth. I wore my EMU boots to work again – there was another inch or so of snow overnight here and the car park is covered again.
I’ve been suffering with a cough for the past week. Hopefully it is nearly gone, but night time is the worst when you can’t sleep for coughing. I heard the most random treatment on the radio yesterday morning and, as I probably shouldn’t take any more cough mixture, decided to give it a try. You rub Vicks Vapour Rub into the soles of your feet, put on socks and go to sleep. And as bonkers as it sounds – it worked! I didn’t cough once last night.
