My choir had a dinner last night to celebrate its 70th Anniversary. It was informal but there’s nothing wrong with dressing up a little. What do you think of the skirt? It was £12 in Matalan. Not too shabby, huh?
We had a great night, the food was lovely and the entertainment (a chap from the drama group) was very funny. It was a warm evening so we walked to the hotel which is just outside the village. My shoes were picked specifically, not because I can walk that distance in them (though I probably could, if forced) but because the co-ordinate with the handbag that will fit my flip flops in and still look eveningy.
