We went into Huddersfield last night to meet up with some friends for a few drinks. We went to Yates’s (where they were charging to get in – WTH? It’s Yates’s!) and ended up outside in a courtyard area under the smoking canopy. Where it was quite smoky. It was a reminder to me to be grateful for the smoking ban. It is a long time since I came home with my hair smelling of smoke. Other than that it was a good night though, and it was still quite warm out. You can see from the pictures that it finally brightened up yesterday afternoon.
