Outfit: Shoeper Challenge #83 and a Cold and Frosty Morning
I woke up to a white world this morning. Jack Frost had certainly been doing his work overnight and everything was a pretty, sparkling white outside. My first thought was that it would take ages to scrape my car (it did, and the young man laughing at me out of the window didn’t help) but this was swiftly followed by the realisation that it would be the perfect day to wear my new wool hat (which won’t stand up to rain).
So, can you spot the blogger who is desperate not to lose any of her shoe collection to the Shoeper Challenge? And the one who is aware that she may have said yes to a couple of freebie pairs of shoes recently, thus increasing her collection and making the challenge a little harder? And the one who is acutely aware that it wasn’t long after this point last year that it started snowing and didn’t stop for 4 months, thus reducing her shoe choice to two: walking boots or wellies. (Er, MS Word, why don’t you recognise the word welly?)
And talking of free shoes – this pair was a gift from NOW Discount Shoes as part of their blogger program a year or so ago. They turned out to be an excellent choice for today, keeping my knees cosy against the cold. I like that they are kind of a neutral colour, but at the same time, they’re not.
