On Saturday morning we were up fairly early. I cooked a full breakfast to set us up for the day, then we were off to Lincolnshire to visit some friends. The young man’s Goddaughter is 6 today and her birthday party was yesterday, so we went to stay with her and her family for the weekend.
The birthday party was fancy dress and there were a lot of pink Disney princesses there. There was an entertainer who did games, dancing and magic tricks, leaving the adults free to drink tea and chat.
Saturday evening the Godchild and her little brother were shattered so went to bed early and the grown ups had a Thai takeout and played a board game.
Today we went into Lincoln for a walk around the cathedral and then to Pizza Hut for a birthday lunch. I don’t have a picture of today’s outfit but it is more or less the same as Thursday’s – the beige sweater dress, black leggings and tan boots.
