Mixing black and brown used to be such a fashion faux pas, but now that it’s perfectly acceptable, it’s one of my favourite neutral combinations.
I like to think that this dress Missoni-esque. I also like to think that it is vintage. I don’t know whether it is or not. I got it on eBay and it has no store label in it. The fabric composition label says that it is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, but that it was made in the UK. It would be unusual for any casual clothing like this to be made in the UK these days, unless it was for a bespoke label or for a designer.
