Outfit: Shoeper Challenge #85 and a Skirt for Dressember #19
Skirts are allowed under the terms (we were told there were no ‘rules’ at the beginning of this, so ‘terms’ seems fitting) of Dressember and that was the direction I chose to go today, mainly so I could wear my festive red sweater. It was the Christmas nativity at church this morning – replete with singing Wise Men, forgotten lines and my friend and her 4 month old baby as Mary and Jesus. Well the baby’s grandma had written the whole thing so it was inevitable that he was going to get the starring role. I finally got a chance to wear these boots and cross another pair off my dwindling list for the Shoeper Challenge. I think I have saved almost everything but a pair of flip flops and some fabric flats. But I’ve got until mid-January so I am confident I will succeed.
This afternoon my sister and her husband came over and we went to Boots whilst the lads went to B&Q. We had a snowy walk home and drank tea and ate some of the caramel shortbread I made yesterday whilst watching Christmas music videos on TV.
