Outfit: Friday!
I am so glad it’s Friday! (I wonder how many Friday posts I’ve started with that sentence over the years – quite a few I suspect!) Although there have only been four working days it still feels as though it has been a long week.
I have no plans for this evening or tomorrow (other than doing some washing and sitting by the fire with some magazines) but on Sunday I am teaching Junior Church so I will be off to church in the morning.
This sweater was an eBay bargain from the Bench outlet store on there. My friend’s sister is as tall as I am and I saw her in the brown version of this sweater last year. I remember thinking at the time that it looked lovely and cosy, and that the sleeves were really long, so when I spied the Bench outlet store I had a look to see whether they had it in stock. They did and I chose the black rather than the brown. The sleeves are an awesome long length and it has thumbholes which I love!
I was glad I’d chosen a cosy sweater this morning as I discovered the heating was broken when I arrived at work. My office was freezing as we don’t have an A/C unit in it (the main section has A/C in the ceiling which blows out hot air as well as cold) and there was a good 10 degrees drop in heat between the main area and my side office. The first job of the morning was to go on the Argos website, reserve some fan heaters and then go and buy them when the store opened at 9am.
I am meeting a friend for a coffee later, so I hope the young man turned on the slow cooker this morning or there will be no tea!
