Today was bright and sunny but freezing cold and with snow flurries (what the..?! It’s March!) and so I took the opportunity to give my EMU boots what I hope will be their last outing of the season.
We went to see the young man’s parents this morning to deliver a Mother’s Day card. We had a cup of tea and some shortbread with them, then came home for dinner.
This afternoon I did the ironing, made some flapjack and sorted through the pictures in my inspiration book whilst the young man pottered in the garage.
I tried out winged eyeliner this morning but the young man said it looked evil so I took it off before we went out. I’m not sure whether I like it or not.

You don't look evil! It can snow as late as April, I passed my driving test in April 2000 & it snowed the next day so dad wouldn't let me drive to college!
ReplyDeleteOh I know, my birthday is mid-April and it quite often snows around that time. In fact I'm pretty sure it snowed around my birthday in 2000.
