Yes it’s June 1st and it’s raining. Quelle surprise. I just hope this is not an indication of things to come for the rest of the summer. It was around this time last year that it started raining and didn’t stop for 10 weeks.

This is not going to be a lazy Sunday for long it turns out. We are going to visit the young man’s aunt & her husband (the ones whose caravan we stayed in last week) this afternoon to return the key to them. And then we’re meeting some friends to go to the cinema. The girls are going to see Sex & The City and the boys are going to see the new Indiana Jones.
But first up I have to go bake some caramel shortbread.
