I have been a fan of Trevor Sorbie’s hair products for a few years now. I use his Straightening Addict shampoo, conditioner and heat protector spray regularly. I had not tried out the hairspray until my friend gave me a goody bag for Christmas which contained a mini bottle of it. I tried it out and was instantly impressed. The hold is indeed very firm, but because the bottle has a spray pump, you don’t choke on the hairspray as can happen with an aerosol can. As long as you keep the spray light, there is no crunchyness to your hair, but it brushes out easily should this happen. I use this product on a daily basis now and will definitely buy another bottle once the one I have is empty. I'll definitely have to give this a try - I'm always on the lookout for some decent hairspray that has hold and flexibility with out that icky crunchy-crispiness. Thanks for the review!

i love this hairspray so much, but have they discontinued it. boots are out of stock everywhere. Help.

ReplyDeleteI'm gutted. I went to Boots yesterday and they have changed all their stock to the new "beautiful volume" hairspray in a cannister with propellants! Agh noooo! I loved the Firm Hold Hairspray in the plastic bottles - it was the best hairspray in the world and now they've taken a backward step and changed it....H E L P !!! I've mailed Trevor Sorbie's customer care team and complained! Let's hope they bring back the original spray! Fingers crossed. I'm nearly out of my old hairspray now and I'm starting to panic! Please everyone mail them and and apply some pressure!

Hi, You can still get hold of their other Firm Hold Hairspray from their Salon X-Clusive Range at the redcued price of £4.99. It's just as great as the one they had on sale in Boots call their head office on 01372 375435.

Have you tried their new Beautiful Hair products? The new packaging is gorgeous and looks great in the bathroom! They've given the products a new fragrance as well which is gorgeous!! I havent tried many of the products yet but I ordered the Beautifully Moisturised Frizz Free Shampoo and Conditioner off of their website because they had a special promotion they've worked wonders on my hair!
