Barratts Patent

I’m wearing my first sweater dress of the season and I’m excited because it’s new! I got it from New Look a few weeks back and have been waiting for the weather to get a bit cooler so I can wear it. Today is cold, wet and rainy so it seemed like the perfect time. It is so soft, comfy & cosy – you at literally wearing an oversize sweater and I love that about sweater dresses.

Patent boots are great in the rain too as the water just runs right off them. These boots have only had one wearing, last spring, right before it got too warm for boots. I’m looking forward to putting them to good use this autumn winter.

I finally switched out my bag this weekend – after using the same tan leather one all summer I was getting bored with it. This huge red one is great for toting all my stuff around and as I am lazy, I am likely to stick with it for a while (probably until I want to wear something pink).

Choir practice last night was good but chilly. I remembered to take a cushion with me – a necessity for 2 hours sitting on a hard church pew. I bundled up in my EMU boots and scarf with pretty much the same outfit as Sunday evening – black polo neck, denim mini & black leggings. It was a joint rehearsal with the choir & the drama group as it’s the concert on Saturday. We have another joint rehearsal on Wednesday evening.

This evening I have a night in which I am looking forward to. Just chilling out, catching up on some TV from last night and maybe downloading some new music.
