No, I didn’t have any tights-laddering or other clothing related disasters last night to prevent me from wearing this ensemble. It’s just that choir practice was cancelled so I ended up spending the evening in slippers rather than heels.
But an evening meant that I could make some more flapjack & alter the jacket that I am wearing today.
I finally rescued my package from the clutches of Royal Mail who had been holding it hostage since Tuesday and it contained the sweatshirt seen here. I spent too long deliberating over whether or not to buy it when it was in the Spring/Summer Next Directory this year, and by the time I decided I did want it, it was sold out. I spotted this one on eBay last week and was determined to win it. It’s a cosy top to wear thanks to the hood and the high collar detail, but the best part about it? It has thumb holes in the cuffs!
I got my hair cut yesterday afternoon too so this is what it looked like fresh out of the salon.
