Priceless Navy

I know it is traditionally a faux pas to wear white trousers after Labor Day, but as I am British and we don’t have Labor Day here, I don’t see that that rule really applies. I think white denim can look chic in the autumn and winter and I have no intention of packing it away until next spring.

I had to wonder last night why I like autumn and winter so much. As I sat on the couch in 2 sweaters and a scarf, with a quilt over my feet, it dawned on me that I will be cold every day for the next 6 months. However, the young man caved on his ‘no heating til November’ nonsense, and put the heating on for a couple of hours. It was so nice waking up in a room that wasn’t like a fridge this morning. But as long as I’m thoroughly bundled up, and the sun is shining, I would pick a crisp autumn day over a hot sunny one every time.
