Last night we ended up at a friend's house for Chinese food, and much hilarity trying to use the giant bubble kit the friend had received for his birthday. It is one of those where the bubble is supposed to be large enough for someone to stand inside, but try as we might we could not get it more than waist height before the bubble burst.
This morning we got up and went to the church service at the city centre parish church. The young man is a member of an association and today was their annual church service. It was choral matins so most of the service is sung, not something I am used to.
The weather turned out nicer than forecast so the afternoon has been spent pottering about the house and garden.
