Outfit: Sunny Saturday

Silver Gladiators

It was hot and sunny again today. The young man has bought himself the ultimate toy: a new car. I took him to pick it up and then came home and did a few chores. We had a BBQ this evening.

I am loving the look of layered tanks and vests at the moment. Today’s combination is good because it makes use of two tops that are difficult on their own. The white is too thin and the blue is not really long enough. Together though, both problems are solved.

I took a shot of the back of my head today as this is my new-favourite way to wear my hair in hot weather. I curl the ends with tongs and then gather it all back in a low ponytail with a lace ribbon.

These sandals were rubbing my feet yesterday so I looked for something to remedy the problem and found this soft gel in Sainsbury’s. You cut a strip off it and stick it to either your foot or the inside of your shoe. I stuck a strip on the inside of each strap and there was an immediate improvement in comfort.
