June 1st and I was pulling on the boots to combat a day of rain. Somehow it didn’t seem right but that’s the way it goes in the UK.
My sister and I headed into the city for a day of girly shopping and lunch yesterday. We had a great time and stopped for lunch then tea and cake in the afternoon. In the evening we ate out at Frankie & Benny’s with the young man.
Plaid is great for summer as well as winter and it is lovely to be able to wear a shirt without a sweater over the top.
