I am thinking of having the little cap sleeves removed to make it just an ordinary shift dress. I think the sleeves cut my arms off at the top. See how it looks when you can't see the cap sleeves?
What do you think? Should I go for it? I can't decide.
Hard to say. I definitely like the second outfit but I think I am biased towards cap sleeves because I have narrow shoulders and they suit me better.

Agree with Emma in that it really depends on your shape. I have broad shoulders, so avoid cap sleeves like the plague, so if it were me I'd chop 'em! :D
ReplyDeleteAgreed with both above - sometimes cap sleeves can look really good. However I think in the case of this dress it does look better without them. They don't add anything in terms of warmth or comfort (and often with cap sleeves I keep reaching to fix them because they feel the same way as a saggy bra-strap does!) so I say get rid!
