The winds have eased a bit, but we’re still forecast to get some gale forces gusts today. It’s lovely and sunny right now (as it was much of yesterday) and the leaves outside my window are turning a lovely shade of red. It’s really looking like autumn out there.
Last night I went to my usual Body Conditioning class at the gym, then came home and played about on my laptop for a while. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves was on TV so we watched a bit of that (I never realised what an all star cast it had: Brian Blessed, Alan Rickman, Mike McShane, Kevin Costner of course) but all I could think of was the children’s TV show Maid Marian and got the theme song for that stuck in my head (“You’re Maid Maa-rian, Why don’t you, caa-rry on, with what you’re do-oo-ing..” – If you’ve never seen it, You Tube the opening titles. Seriously. It’s awesome.). And I had so many WW points left over that I had to treat myself to a sandwich for my supper.
Tonight I have Aqua Zumba and that’s about it I think.
I’ve done the blogger sock-bun thing with my hair today. There was no point attempting to straighten it or wear it down with this wind, and I plan on going for a walk later if the weather holds. This is another outfit that I will be happy to substitute the top for a black polo neck once it gets cold. I can see it with my black patent knee high boots too.
