This morning we had arranged to meet our friends from last night at Frankie and Benny’s for brunch, so we headed up there for about 11.30am. We had a good feed, then the young man and I went to call on his aunt. She wasn’t in so we had a bit of a walk (I needed some activity points to counteract that breakfast!) and then returned home for a cup of tea in the sunny conservatory.
The young man’s mate came round and the lads went off for a drink at a local pub, where I will join them later for another round of fireworks.
I wore my cosy Merrell boots this morning for all the walking, and I’ll probably wear them again this evening for warmth, and because they are waterproof. I didn’t want to wear them in the house though, hence the slippers in the pictures. I did another blogger bun today, this time AKA my hair smelt of firework smoke last night but as it was gone midnight by the time we left our friends’, I couldn’t be bothered to wash it.
