Outfit: Back To Work
I think the first day back at work in January is possibly one of the worst days of the year. You know it’s going to be dark and cold for at least another two months, Easter is miles off and there’s not a lot happening between now and then. When I awoke this morning I could hear the wind and rain lashing against the window. It sounded bleak. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to step out of the front door and find that not only had the rain stopped, but that also that it was quite warm. By the time I got to work though it was a different story: the rain was pouring and the window in my office is still leaking (even though I reported it weeks ago).
I was glad I’d gone for a cosy knitted dress and these tights are supposed to be 150 denier, though they don’t look much thicker than my 100 denier ones to me. I’m wearing my Jaidens again, but I have some far more sensible flat boots (with a closed toe) for when I venture out later on.
Tonight I have no real plans so I might take pictures of all the things to go on eBay: I can feel myself caving to list them already.
Black knit dress – Long Tall Sally
Purple tights – George at Asda
Black booties – Miss Sixty (eBay)
Purple necklace – gifted
Silver hoops – gifted
Purple belt – Ethel Austin
Total Est. Cost £77
