After our late night/early morning yesterday, it was gone 11am by the time we got up. I made scrambled eggs on toast for brunch (a new favourite dish of mine) and then cleaned the bathroom. I spent the early part of the afternoon just chilling as it was too wet out to clean my car or do any of the other car-related tasks I had intended.
We got ready mid-afternoon and headed up to the young man’s parents’ house for tea. We spent the evening up there playing Newmarket (a card game), drinking and nibbling on Pringles and Quality Streets.
