Outfit: Red Pants
I’m trying to pretend that these jeans are not jeans today, and have dressed them up with a jacket and heels. I’m not sure anyone will be fooled mind...
Last night I went to the local Wetherspoon’s for tea, and very enjoyable it was too. There were 20+ of us and we had a lovely time and then headed on to rehearsal. I’m not in the show this year, so I spent the first half minding my friend’s little boy (his Granny, the regular Wednesday night babysitter, was ill). He is 17 months old and very cute, but also wriggly and a bit of a monkey (he thought the best game ever was pretending to drink his milk then chucking the bottle on the floor – cute at first but gets old fast) and I wasn’t sorry to hand him back after an hour. I like children, but only in small doses. I just swapped my skirt and leggings for skinny jeans with a chunky belt, and kept the sweater and boots the same.
Tonight I have a cake to bake, which I will be taking to work tomorrow if it is a success. I can’t have more cake hanging around at home, especially one that is not low in WW points.
We are forecast more snow later so, aware that fabric shoes may not be the best option, I’ve stashed my wellies in my car. I like that there is some subtle pattern mixing going on between the shoes and the scarf.
