Outfit: Shoeper Challenge 2012 #2 and An Overcast Day
The spring sunshine seems to have disappeared for the time being and it’s a bit grey and cloudy outside. I was contemplating wearing this dress without a long sleeve top underneath, but I’m glad I didn’t now as it’s not that warm at the moment. I did try to keep a bit of a spring vibe by going for leggings and bare feet rather than tights.
Last night was drama group committee and it was a long meeting. I didn’t get home until after 10pm. I could have saved another pair of shoes too, but I decided to pace myself (read: I couldn’t be bothered to take pictures) and as it was a pair of flats I wear pretty often I’m sure they will be on my feet again before long. I know I don’t have to take outfit shots to save my shoes, but I intend to do so and can always fall back on the ‘shoes only in the photo’ rule later on if I need to.
This afternoon I am heading straight into the city after work to meet my sister and her friend to go and see The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at the cinema. Hence the flat shoes. This is the pair I got in the Jones The Bootmaker sale in Bristol the other week, to replace my cheapo Matalan red flats which had really seen better days. This pair is suede on the outside and leather on the inside so they’re already pretty comfy even though I’ve only worn them a couple of times. Although I am still nursing my blisters from Sunday afternoon.

Hi Fiona
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit it looks really great!
Think it's about time you invested in some more trendy specs though - these ones are looking a bit dated now and not keeping up with the rest of your fashion!
Maybe you could try some frames on and post pictures and we can vote which ones we like the best?
Keep blogging!
