Outfit: Black and White Stripes and Union Flag Shoes
I’m showing a little support for Team GB with my shoes today! And for the county of Yorkshire. Apparently if we had been granted independence (as some folk would like to see happen) and were a country in our own right, we would be 10th in the medals table or something. Not too shabby really, considering the size of the county.
Last night we went to a Marston’s pub for our tea. The food was OK, as it always is in chain pubs but it certainly makes you appreciate our local pub where all the food is properly homemade. We had a good time with our friends and were home just after 10pm.
Tonight is grocery shop night, and I want to catch up with a programme about Pete Waterman’s Hit Factory that I missed on Monday. His music was the soundtrack to my pre-teen years at the end of the 1980s and one of the first things I remember seeing on Top of the Pops was Sonia singing You’ll Never Stop Me From Loving You in about 1987 or 88.
