Outfit: Shoeper Challenge 2012 #58 and the First Boots of the Season
Rain was forecast for today, and indeed it arrived, so boots were definitely in order. It was just 8°C as I was driving to work this morning – it is definitely turning more autumnal.
These boots are by Nine West and were bought in the sale when Allders (a department store) closed down in Leeds many years ago. I think I paid around £40 for them which, for leather boots is a bargain, especially when you consider that they were about £130 full price. I love the dark chocolate brown shade and they are super comfy, despite being a size smaller than I usually wear (though they are a wide fit so perhaps that has something to do with it).
Last night I went to the gym and when I got home the young man’s mum was there. We sat and chatted with her for a bit and then I cleaned up in the kitchen and we sat down to watch Horizon which was about the battle between superbugs and antibiotics.

ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa! It's nice to know that I give someone else ideas, I feel like I'm constantly nicking them from other blogs and magazines.
