Review: Red or Dead Tights from Tightsplease
Last week Tightsplease sent me a pair of Una Footless Tights by Red or Dead to review. I know Red or Dead as being an 80s/90s label that made footwear and belts and other items that Bros used to wear (yes, I am totally showing my age now!) so I had no idea that they made tights. I loved the funky pink packaging when they arrived:
As it’s a bit chilly for footless tights now I added some socks and styled them with boots. The tights have a sheer stripe design on them, and a darker stripe down the sides which makes them a bit more interesting than just plain brown tights but without being a full-on tartan or anything. I was a little worried about the sheer stripes being a weak point in the fabric, and sure enough a tiny hole had appeared in them by the end of the day. However, it is a very small hole and isn’t really noticeable unless you are looking for it. The hole didn’t develop into a ladder so I’ll see how they stand up to washing and another wear.
I’m not sure what denier these tights are but the Tightsplease website describes them as “incredibly thick, high denier tights” and they certainly are that. They were also a great length for my long legs.
The Red or Dead Una tights cost £10.48 and are just available in the brown colour I received from Tightsplease. Tightsplease currently have free UK shipping for a limited time.

Loving the Tights, those stripes are subtle, but make them into something different!
