Georgia Rose tan boots

Friday, hoorah! When I woke up this morning I was so pleased it’s Friday as I can have a lie in tomorrow. I leave the house around 7am on a work day and each day it is getting lighter in the mornings. Of course it helps when the weather is good, as it was this morning, and you can actually see the sun coming up rather than just the grey rain clouds as is so often the case.

Last night I did the supermarket shopping as I usually do on a Thursday evening. The young man and I don’t make a big deal of Valentine’s day so we had nothing special planned. I made him some banana pancakes when I got back which seemed to be a hit with him, and then I watched the Big Reunion. This week the focus was on B*witched and the Honeyz. I quite liked B*witched (I was at university when they were first around) but I couldn’t have told you anything about the Honeyz. I did recognise a couple of their songs when I heard them but I didn’t know they’d had so many line ups and I had all but forgotten they existed until I heard them mentioned on the show a couple of weeks ago.

Today I am taking advantage of casual Friday by wearing jeans and my flat boots. I have a couple of jeans with heels outfits planned from my 30 items, but I am going to my sister’s for tea today and then we’re going out to see our aunt in a local theatre production and have to walk up a really steep hill to get there so flats were the best option today. I am glad I included this jacket in my 30 list. It’s encouraging me to wear it more as I intended when I bought it – as a smart jacket rather than as a coat, and when I wore it on Tuesday it had garnered about 3 compliments before 10am. One of my friends said it was very Vivienne Westwood and I suppose it is, with the big collar, nipped in waist and the cross over design.

Grey jacket – Topshop Tall (eBay)
Turquoise top – Long Tall Sally
Jeans – Armani (David Jones, Sydney)
Tan boots – Georgia Rose (c/o Sarenza)
Blue beads – Scope
Silver hoops – gifted

Total Est. Cost £105

I liked the honeyz song love of a lifetime. What channel is this reunion programme on? Sounds like they were the Pre-cursor to the sugarbabes & their ever changing lineup!

  3. It's on ITV2, Thursday nights at 9pm. You should be able to catch up on ITV Player. I've had End of the Line by the Honeyz in my head since Thursday!
