Recipe: Low Fat Creamy Mustard Sauce
This sauce is fabulous and it will go with whatever you want to put it with. I’ve done it with chicken and salmon so far, but I guess it would work with other fish or with pork.
The original recipe was printed in the Weight Watchers magazine in an advert for their Thick Cream, and it was to go with chicken. This works out at 1PP per person.
You will need (for 4 people):
Mushrooms or red onions (or I guess you could use both, I haven’t tried)
¼ pint veg or chicken stock, made with a whole stock cube
150g WW Thick Cream
2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
Spray oil
Fry the mushrooms and/or onions in a little spray oil
Add the stock and the mustard and stir until they are combined
Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes
Add the cream, stir it in until heated through and serve
