As I have been working in the head office this I decided to keep casual Friday fairly smart by adding a blazer to my jeans. What can I say? I am loving blazers right now! It’s Comic Relief day in the UK today, where we are encouraged to ‘do something funny for money’ to raise funds for various charitable projects, both at home and abroad. There is talk of 80s fancy dress throughout the company (there is also talk of one of the male managers in my department wearing a dress but that’s another story) but I decided to keep it classic and added my neon orange shoes as a nod to all things 80s.
When I mentioned yesterday that I am was going to the hairdressers this afternoon one of my lovely readers left a comment asking what the plan was for my hair. Well, I’m keeping it long but I’m growing out my fringe (never an easy task) so I’m going to see whether my fabulous hairdresser can put in some shorter layers to kind of blend in my fringe as it grows out. Longer term the goal is to have my shortest layer around chin length. However, I’m a woman and it is therefore my prerogative to change my mind so I can’t necessarily be expected to stick to that plan! Here’s a little collage to give you an idea of the kind of look I’m going for.

Last night was church choir practice so I went to Aldi to do the shopping beforehand as it’s on the way to church. By the time I got home there was just time for a quick snack before bed. The internets are broken at home so that meant no Lost which I am a little relieved about. I think I could use a break from it for a day or two.

ReplyDeleteThe chap threatening to wear a dress transformed himself into 'Sandra' for the day, and I had to go shopping with Carol Decker from T'Pau at dinner time! Didn't watch any of the TV show though. And thanks, liking my hair and looking forward to styling it myself.
ReplyDeleteEven with denim, its such a smart casual outfit.
