George Zebra Flats

Sunday morning the young man and I headed into the city to meet my sister and her husband and their daughter. We were headed for the Leeds Wheel which was in its final day on Sunday. It went round 4 times when we were on it as it wasn’t busy, and we enjoyed fabulous views over the city.

After that we went for a walk through the new Trinity shopping complex as the lads hadn’t seen it yet. The young man and my sister spent some time in the Lego shop as they both love the stuff. Then we went to Brown’s for some lunch.

After lunch the young man and I headed home. I made some more bread (homemade bread doesn’t seem to last very long!) as I wanted to try out the fastbake setting. Then the young man’s parents picked us up and we went to visit another of his aunties for tea.

  1. Gah I miss Leeds SO much! I love that place more than I can say, uni times were the most fantastic three years. I'm desperate to go back for a wknd & relive my youth, drinking snakebite & black in the Skyrack in Headingley, dancing in Heaven & Hell (if it even exists anymore!), Bourbon or the Courtyard & then getting a whole pizza for £2.50 on the way home. Too old for an Otley Run these days but maybe I'll go dig out my old uni albums& look at proper, tangible photos! :-D
