New Year, New Me

Long time readers of this blog will know that back in July 2011 I joined Weight Watchers. I wasn’t really overweight, but my weight was starting to creep up and I didn’t like it. So I decided to do something about it and I joined Weight Watchers (WW) online and lost almost 2 stone (12.7kg / 28lbs), reaching goal in October 2011. Over the past three years I have kept most of it off, mostly by following the WW Filling and Healthy method (quite loosely at times it has to be said) but have gained a little back and it’s time to get back on the wagon properly.

When I started WW I started a blog on the WW site, mainly to log my favourite tips and tricks that helped me along the way. I’m going to republish those posts here over the next few weeks so that I can remind myself of what worked, lose those pesky few lbs and get back to my goal weight.

  1. I found duct tape and handcuffs were fairly effective items to help keep the weight off.

  2. I've never dieted as such as I've always eaten well & exercised. I think I'm holding onto a few extra pounds as I'm still BFing Felix - all the Christmas goodies don't help! Really need to chuck it away & get back to healthy eating!
