So the final few days of November were upon us and the temperatures dipped again. Monday morning I wasn’t feeling the best as my cold had developed over the weekend. I bundled up in a cosy cashmere sweater and a scarf and hoped for the best.
Saturday morning we had managed to take a trip to Fountain's Abbey though, to make the most of the winter sunshine and to get some further use out of our National Trust membership. And we were rewarded with clear blue skies, frost and autumn colours.
