Last Saturday my sister and I headed out on a shopping trip and for afternoon tea, to belatedly celebrate my birthday. We walked miles around the city, and the pit stop at Patisserie Valerie for afternoon tea was very welcome indeed.
I opted to wear pumps for comfort and I could have done with the pashmina scarf I left in the car as the wind was still cold even though it was May. I tend to see burgundy as a fall colour, but I really enjoyed wearing it on Saturday and hopefully this picture will remind me to pull it out more often all year round.
